Bluegrass Farmers Market

I woke up this morning and remembered that it was Saturday...I should be at the Bluegrass Farmers' Market! Then I looked out the window and saw the blanket of white stuff that Mother Nature thought she should dump on us this past week and I felt like going back to bed. lol Then I remembered that spring is only 13 days away and I decided that enjoying a hot cup of coffee and thinking ahead would make me enjoy the blanket of snow more. The daffodils will be peeking through any day now. :) I can't wait!!!

Our site committee has still not selected the best location to replace our Richmond Rd. market but they are still working hard with all of the folks who are involved with allowing a farmers market to set up. It shouldn't be long, so hang in there while they continue their many hours sending emails, talking on the phone, making inspections, talking to property owners/managers and making sure that they all know what is going on! It is tedious, to say the least, but thank heavens we have such wonderful volunteers who accepted the challenge of finding our market the perfect location. We sure do appreciate them for all of their efforts.

The good news...our Azur Restaurant & Patio location will be opening on March 28^th with limited participation. Think Easter dinner! Need I say more.

Just thought everyone would like a wee bit of an update. Please, if you have to venture out, drive safely and stay warm!
