Consider looking at newspapers you enjoy reading to see what sort of typeface and column spacing they use. It will make it easier to read your paper.
Consider using desktop publishing software over regular office productivity software to achieve more eye-friendly results.
Try to stay on topic: recipes are great, but articles about the flag have little impact on natural sciences or any agricultural connection.
