Spring is just around the corner............
Spring is just around the corner and our thoughts are turning to chicks, new calves, pigs and GRASS! We are anticipating beginning our first chicks mid April, and hoping a steer or 2 will be ready to harvest early July. In the maternity department, we are awaiting the arrival of a new batch of piggies. We enjoy watching their antics as they run, dance and root on pasture. Last summer my 7 year old was seen playing out there with them quite frequently!
My son is gearing up to get things growing here soon, so we can transplant as soon as the ground is warm enough. Ahhhh......it has been a long winter and the eagerness of growing things again is on everyone's mind. Salad mixes, radishes and other salad fixin's will be on the menu! Can't wait!
We currently have beef and pork available. This is 100% grass fed and finished beef - no antibiotics, hormones, or steroids whatsoever.You can order individual cuts or a convenient Beef Pak- a 25 lb box containing various cuts for $125. We are working on a beef/pork combo pak as well. Ask for details if interested. We also are taking orders for pork. We have 1pig left for this spring if you want to stock up for your summer BBQ needs.
