I just wanted to pass along this information that was written by local harvest. I recommend that you read it if you are considering joining a CSA. It can help you determine if a CSA membership is right for you.

Local Food for Local People
CSA is a wonderful way to support local farms, know your farmer and develop trust about your families food, and have a much healthier lifestyle.
Always the big complaint is how much produce you get and how to possibly consume it all. In addition, you don't always know what you are going to get one week to the next - make it fun! Find recipes for the wonderful bounty you receive. Also, invest in a Juicer. I don't mean a blender. A serious Juicer. You can produce amazing superfood juices and there are lots of great books out there for recipes that use veggies and fruits together to cleanse, revitalize, energize and even arrest far more serious health problems. And the pulp goes right into your composter for the garden! email me if you want more info...Cheers! -Trent
