Babe, our Jersey Milk Cow, is doing great!  She is my first experience with milking a cow.  I actually am afraid of cows.  :-)  But, she and I get along beautifully!  We bought her in November.  She calved in January!  The previous owner sold her due to the 'out of sinc' calving schedule.  It was hard to be milking during the coldest part of winter...but, we managed and learned alot very quickly about milking a cow!  We bought a milk machine and sell fresh milk daily.  We make Kefir, Mozzarella, Buttermilk, and Ice Cream with Babe's rich, creamy milk!
