Outstanding Dreams Farm

What a busy summer we have had here in Caroline County, Maryland! Isn't it difficult to believe that September is just around the corner? We are however, looking forward to our fall festival and a number of local events around the community. In May we were blessed with the double arrival of two crias within just a couple of days. They are beautiful, healthy babies which have grown so quickly and as always, we love watching them each day. Here's a picture of "Sonic's Revelation" and "McCoy's Lucky Lady" busy at play. Over the summer we had some wonderful guests comes out to tour the farm, along with several groups of students and vacationers from as far away as the west coast and even Canada. Sharing our animals with visitors is of course one of the best parts of our job, and we really enjoy seeing their reactions. Earlier this month we received an inquiry about the purchase of one of our herdsires, "Magic". While it was very difficult to say goodbye, since honestly we get pretty attached to all of our animals, he is related to many of our females and it is time to for him to enjoy a new chapter of life at another farm. Currently - and throughout the month of September - we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of several baby alpacas. Fall is always such a beautiful time here on the farm, and we are excited for the months ahead.
