Cheese, bison, peanuts, fruit, organic produce and baked goods are among the items for sale by over 35 local farmers and producers at the Williamsburg Farmers Market.  Mike Hutt of The Virginia Marine Products Board will be at Chef Tent, the Master Gardeners will attend discussing drought-tolerant plants and guitarist Stephen Christoff will perform from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

8:00 a.m. – 12 noon

Peaches, apples, blackberries, goat meat, herb plants and a knife sharpener are among the many products and services available at the Williamsburg Farmers Market.  A Thyme to Plant Herb Farm will be at the Chef Tent, Two Girls and a Hammer will host a Ball Canning demonstration from 9-11:00 a.m., and  Kindred Spirits, a vocal duo, will sing.

This Saturday at the Williamsburg Farmers Market The Trellis Restaurant will be at the Chef Tent, the Master Gardeners will attend and Louis Vangieri will play guitar. Shop for fresh, local peaches, berries, corn, tomatoes, pasture-raised pork and goat meats and much more.

July is peak season for corn, tomatoes, blackberries and cut flowers at the Williamsburg Farmers Market. Jim Gay of Colonial Williamsburg Historic Foodways will be at Chefs Tent and Two Girls and a Hammer will have a "Discover You Can" canning demonstration using tomatoes.  The Virginia Shakespeare Festival performers will attend and Me & JO will play from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Special events to celebrate the Williamsburg Farmers Market’s 9th anniversary and Independence Day will feature the annual Chef Cook-Off led by Chef Renny Parziale, Tap Root and the Virginia Chefs Association.  Songwriter Ron Fetner will play from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  The Master Gardeners will attend with rain barrels, over 35 local vendors will attend and complimentary cake will be served.

Shop for everything from raspberries, blueberries and tomatoes to goat cheese, daylilies and lavender at the Williamsburg Farmers Market. The Williamsburg Lodge will be at the Chef Tent at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and Two Girls & a Hammer will provide techniques and recipes for canning salsa. The Delvers will entertain from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Shop for Father’s Day at the Williamsburg Farmers Market. Knife sharpening available.  Blueberries, raspberries and tomatoes are ripe and daylilies and lavender are in bloom. The Blue Talon Bistro will be Chef Tent at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  Prentice Creek Partners will entertain from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. WHRO will have a display with giveaways and kids activities.

The City of Williamsburg will have a recycling exhibit and a canning demonstration with Two Girls & a Hammer will be at the Chef Tent at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  Macaroni Kid will provide activities for kids and Karen Trump will entertain from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Children’s Day at the Williamsburg Farmers Market will include SHIP (School Health Initiative Program) at the Chef Tent at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  Mr. Little’s Band will entertain from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Corny Sue will provide face painting, the Master Gardeners will feature gardening with children and the Masonic Lodge will conduct Child ID. Over 30 vendors will attend with fresh, local, seasonal products.

Plan Memorial Day picnics with bison, fruit pies and spring vegetables available at the Williamsburg Farmers Market.  A strawberry jam canning demonstration will be presented by Two Girls and a Hammer at the Chef Tent at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m, the first in a series of demonstrations.   Brian and Mary Lewis will entertain from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. WHRO will have a display with giveaways and kids activities.

May is peak season for strawberries, peonies, soft shell crabs, and all spring produce at the Williamsburg Farmers Market.  Master Gardeners and WCAN will have exhibits. Williamsburg Christian Academy will entertain from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Executive Chef Denis Callinan of the College of William & Mary will be at the Chef Tent with cooking demonstrations and free samples at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

The Leadership Historic Triangle will bring demonstrations and exhibits on exercise and health for their Fitness Day at the market. 

Bagels & Fraylox will entertain from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 

Berret’s Seafood Restaurant will open the season at the Chef’s Tent with demonstrations at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
