Our Home Farm Herbery Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) seed is a Biennial and this is the most productive and best respected species to grow for leaf production. Light-dependent seeds are pressed into the surface of bare soil. Plant prefers disturbed soil, full sun and moderate water.

Sow seed on surface of disturbed soil or on surface of flat. Compact down hard. Mullein tolerates poor, gravelly soil and fierce sun.Mullein is used medicinally as tea or tincture for moistening mucous membranes and is therefore a great soothing agent for the throat, bronchi and lungs.
