The Rabbit Barn

The Rabbit Barn has started the move to a new chicken house!  I started a year ago in a chicken house and it proved to be so much better for the rabbits.  During that terrible heatwave last year, I was losing rabbits by the hour, even with ice bottles and frozen ceramic tiles.  I got an offer to move into a friend's chicken house and didn't lose a single one as the heatwave continued for over a week!

The owner of that chicken house needs me to move out and I've just found another chicken house to move in.  During this time, I am taking over another herd of rabbits because a friend has decided to move to another state.  So, I am not only moving my rabbits to the new barn, but another herd.

The other herd is two and a half hours away, so the challenge begins on how to get 500+ cages back to Bear Creek and hundreds of rabbits!  I'll keep you posted on the progress.
