It's official! We have planted quite a few seeds and now they are starting to sprout! We've also put up two new hoop houses, a smaller one for season extension, and a larger one for a propagation house. Our wood burning stove is now up and running to heat our seedlings, and soon we should be able to direct sow some root veggies and spring sugar snap peas. We got hit with a little disagreeable weather, just over 5 inches of snow, but that's not going to slow us down :) We also wanted to get some news out that we have decided to offer free direct deliveries to your home. We know that life always isn't the most convenient and we want to make sure when you receive your food it's as fresh as possible. Email or call us if you have any questions or want to sign up! The days are getting longer, and even with this snow on the ground we know spring is officially here, and mother nature can't fool us! 

Hello Friends! We are finally awakening out of this long winter slumber to bring life and fresh food to this beautiful part of Wisconsin. In last few days we have been purchasing seed and greenhouse supplies to get plants started. It's hard to imagine now but from experience we all know how quickly the season goes by, but in these early months we need your help more than ever! If you haven't already, we need you to take a look at our handy-dandy website and CSA sign-up sheet. I know that its hard to start thinking about purchasing fresh food when its still snowing out there, but we need some help with funds to get this food-filled project up and moving.

If you're in the area on March 7th we will be at the 5th Annual Food Fair & Farmers Market in Reedsburg from 9am to 1pm. There will be over 25 vendors, 6 different Mini Sessions and a few Ask-an-expert tables. Come support your local food producers at Sacred Heart School Gym the corner of 6th and Willow St in Reedsburg.
