HELLO AND WELCOME to Bluebird Dream Farm! Happy  2026! 

We are a small family farm and produce the finest Certified Organic, pastured, free-range, humanely-raised HOLIDAY/THANKSGIVING/CHRISTMAS turkeys. (Certified Organic by the Northeast Organic Farming Association of NY (NOFA-NY, LLC)
Our birds are fed Certified Organic grain, start life in a huge, dry, warm barn, and when they are ready, have the freedom to roam on pastures Certified Organic by the Northeast Organic Farming Association of NY (NOFA-NY). As we grow, we hope to include organic fruit, vegetables, broiler chickens, hogs, and many value-added products. 

We produce the finest Local, Certified Organic, Pasture-raised, Whole Turkeys & Turkey Parts in the Northeast.

**UPDATES FOR 2026** :

FOR YOU, this year, we have:

A.) USDA Certified Organic Whole Birds, with giblets. 

 ALL range in weight between 11 -14 lbs.

( Whole Bird price is $9.00/LB if we receive your deposit from now until Halloween, October 31, 2025. Fuel prices might force an increase  after 10/31/25)

B.) USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC TURKEY PARTS
(The PARTS prices below might have to be updated as the        current, dynamic nature of costs are analyzed.)

1.) Bone-In Turkey Breasts [~4.5 -6.5 lbs]
  Looks like a small turkey with no wings or legs.  $14/lb

2.) Boneless turkey breast  fillets [~1.5-2.5 lbs]
I suppose you could call them "turkey cutlets".   $18/lb

3.) Turkey legs.  Drumsticks with thighs attached.

Great for a renaissance fair.  $12/lb 

4.) Turkey Wings 2per package. [~1 lb each]
  Have a turkey wing/ Buffalo Bills Supper Bowl Party.  $10/lb

5.) Turkey Giblets Packages [1.0-1.3 lbs/pkg]                                        Each package contains a neck, liver, gizzard, & heart. $8/lb

6.) Turkey "Backs" Officially called a carcass. [~3.4 lbs/pkg]               Use like chicken backs for bone broth, soup, etc.  $8/lb

When ordering from the website:

A.) The Most Important Step: Pay a deposit ($ 20 minimum) to reserve the weight of the turkey (or parts) you want.  Once we have this we will hold your turkey reservation as long as we exist. (If you choose to abandon your order this year, we will apply your deposit to next year's order, for example.)

B.) YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS: 
If you go to the very end of our website you can fill in information that we use to serve you effectively. (Name, email address, phone number, a clear description of what you want, when and where you want to pick up your turkey, or if you want a delivery-your address.)
  This can also be done by email or text, if you prefer. 
All turkey meat products are frozen. 

We normally specialize in smaller turkeys, usually in the 9-15 lbs. range. Consider getting a second turkey--more drumsticks!--if you want more meat.

Full payment is required when you pick up your turkey. The deposit amount will be deducted from the total cost of each turkey.

There is a $30 returned check fee.

We love our Ithaca/ Greater Finger Lakes community, and so the dream is to help awaken the sleeping giant of local agriculture to its full potential of clean, healthy, sustainable, and environmentally friendly food. The dream is to learn from and enhance the already existing network of positive, like-minded New Yorkers to create a stable, organic food system. And all along the way the dream is to help and foster the New York State Bird - the bluebird - to build a strong population.
