Devil's gulch ranch, a diversified family farm located in California's north coast, raises rabbits, grows premium wine grapes, and offers other livestock and produce for retail sales and to high-quality restaurants (eggs, poultry, lamb, pork, goat, squab, quail, foraged mushrooms, asparagus and watercress). We also grow many other fruits and vegetables for personal consumption. The Pasternak's used to also breed performance quarter horses which have been shown successfully at many cutting and other events. We believe in sustainable agricultural practices; organic, whenever possible. Devil's Gulch Ranch offers an agricultural summer camps for both youth and families and offers agricultural and traditional skills workshops.

From San Francisco, cross the Golden Gate Bridge and continue North on Hwy 101 towards San Rafael. Three exits North of central San Rafael, take the Lucas Valley Rd/Smith Ranch Rd exit and go West.
From the East Bay, cross the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge heading West to Hwy 101, and go North on Hwy 101. Three exits North of central San Rafael, take the Lucas Valley Rd/Smith Ranch Rd exit and go West.
From Santa Rosa South on Hwy 101, or from Sacramento/Napa/Sonoma via Hwy 37 to Hwy 101 South, take the Lucas Valley Rd/Smith Ranch Rd exit from Hwy 101 just North of San Rafael. and go West.
Go West on Lucas Valley Rd approximately 10 miles until it ends at Nicasio Valley Rd. Turn right (North) on Nicasio Valley Rd. In approx. ½ mile you will be entering the town of Nicasio from the South. Nicasio Valley Rd will jog around the baseball field. Immediately after that jog, turn left (West) into the driveway of the Nicasio Historical Society (4499 Nicasio Valley Rd), and then cross the bridge that is behind it.
From Petaluma, take "D" St heading South out of town. It becomes the Petaluma-Point Reyes Rd. Take the next left after you pass the Marin County Fire Station and the Marin French Cheese Factory (approx 5 miles) heading South on Nicasio Valley Rd. In approx 3 miles you will be entering the town of Nicasio from the North. Just as you enter the "downtown" of Nicasio, turn right (West), into the driveway of the Nicasio Historical Society (4499 Nicasio Valley Rd), and then cross the bridge that is behind it.
From Point Reyes Station, go North on the Petaluma/Point Reyes Rd to Nicasio Valley Rd and turn right, South. In approximately 3 miles you will be entering the town of Nicasio from the North. Just as you enter the "downtown" of Nicasio, turn right (West), into the driveway of the Nicasio Historical Society (4499 Nicasio Valley Rd), and then cross the bridge that is behind it.
From Fairfax: Take Sir Francis Drake Blvd heading West over Whit's Hill into San Geronimo Valley. Turn right (North) on Nicasio Valley Rd. In approximately 3 miles you will be entering the town of Nicasio from the South. Nicasio Valley Rd will jog around the baseball field. Immediately after that jog turn left (West) into the driveway of the Nicasio Historical Society (4499 Nicasio Valley Rd), and then cross the bridge that is behind it.
There is an electric gate in front of the bridge which has a push button, no key pad or code. Cross the bridge and you will be on a (very good) gravel road.
Go 1/2 mile from the bridge to the first left turn (uphill), where there is a sign (Devils Gulch Ranch) and an arrow pointing to the left. Turn left and go uphill approximately 1 mile, all the way to the top of the hill. At the top, you will pass our vineyard on your right and then come to a fork in the road with 2 wooden gates. Turn right, downhill, and go through the right hand gate. It is another electric gate, which does have a key pad, you will be given a gate code with a scheduled appointment. From this gate it is 1/2 mile downhill to our ranch. At the bottom of the valley, turn left for the barnyard and ranch office.
