At Bowen Family Farm our chickens are raised on pasture, moved daily onto new patches of grass where they eat bugs, grass, and whatever else they eat. They are supplemented with high-protein, non-GMO feed, which we purchase locally. We believe in supporting local businesses and practice what we preach.
The chickens have never received vaccinations, hormones, or medications. They are just pure chickens.
We also raise and sell woodland pork. Our pigs are raised in the woods and supplemented with feed from a local feed mill.
When you purchase pork or chicken from us, you don't have to wonder "what's in the meat." We can tell you: in our chicken, it's chicken, and in our pork, it's pork!
