Brandywine Farm

We operate a small grass-based family farm. Our free-range pastured eggs, chicken, and turkey are raised on natural forage and custom feed from Zanella's mill, mostly locally-grown. Our sheep and goats are grass-fed with minimal supplemental grain. No medicated feeds or subclinical antibiotics or hormones, ever. We prioritize animal welfare and good health over high production and human convenience. We also sell limited quantities of heirloom vegetable sets and heirloom vegetables in-season. We are predator-friendly and rely on electric fencing and our English shepherd farm dogs to protect our livestock. Our acreage is managed to integrate grazing and gardening with wildlife habitat. Sales are by appointment or at designated times and locations announced via email list and facebook page. Please no drop-in customers.
