Dragonfly Farms is a regenerative grass farm in central Virginia producing delicious, nutritious grassfed and grass finished beef. We started this business in 2007 and have grown our cattle herd over the years. Our farm is in Louisa, between Richmond and Charlottesville, with rolling pastures, creeks and forest.

We offer internships. And we put on classes about farming and offer one on one consulting. We also sell bred cows to farms growing their herd.

We have had a great spring, blessed with good rains early on. We were able to get the garden in early enough. We got a fine first cutting of hay. We offer beef and lamb by the individual cut as well as by the quarter steer or whole lamb. Call or email for availability and price.Try some of our delicious lamb or grass finished Belted Galloway and Angus steaks, roasts, ground beef and sausages. Taking orders for halves and quarters of steers to be finished on grass. Pastured eggs available. Veterinarian owned and operated equine lay-up and retirement care. Come visit the farm.
