Pleasant Valley Botanicals goal is to grow vibrant medicinal and culinary herbs and flowers, using sustainable and ecologically sound farming methods. Pleasant Valley Botanicals pledges grow without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). For the 2015 growing season, Pleasant Valley Botanicals offered a Medicinal and Culinary Herb Community Supported Agriculture program, with 60 different herbs over the season! This year there are 38+ NEW herbs being added, with the hopes that at least 10-20 new herbs will make it into a share this year. But Pleasant Valley Botanicals is more than an opportunity to purchase fresh, local herbs. There is significant herbal and medicine making information (including a short class at the first CSA pickup), and is really a Farmer Supported Apothecary, hoping to assist you in building and using your own herbal apothecary.
