For organic products, we have 15 lavender bushes that each yield several hundred stems of lavender. Each June-July when the lavender is in full bloom, we have an event called "Lavender Love in a Jar" to allow visitors to cut as many stems of lavender that will fit in a mason jar.
We sell out of two places on the farm: Charlie's Farm Store, which was originally an 1880's shed to store livestock feed, and our newest offering just a few feet away, a concession stand we call the Snack Shack, that doubles as our produce stand.
The Farm store carries long shelf-life products: preserves, honey, nut butters, salsas and apple butter. It also features our products grown on the farm: lavender, fleece, and seasonal produce, fruits and herbs from the property.
The Snack Shack offers hot dogs, snacks, and beverages, and any produce that our garden is yielding. In summer we sell tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, chili peppers, squash varieties including zucchini and herbs. We also save our seeds and sell them in colorfully designed seed packets at the Farm Store!
Our free-ranging chickens, geese and ducks provide pest control and in turn give us the most delicious farm eggs! We take orders for homemade butter and produce buttermilk to sell as well. We also have a herdshare with a local Jersey cow and sell raw, unpasteurized milk with the cream. This is only sold as "Not for Human Consumption" but can be used as replacement milk for baby animals. During lambing season every February, we feed up to 25 bottles a day so this milk is used for our lambs who need the nourishment to grow healthy.
Open every weekend 10-4 for the farm visitors and open during the week for B&B guests, as well as campers who want to experience a farmstay with gentle livestock grazing around them!
