Wild Herd Cattle & Kitchen

Wild Herd is our small, diversified family farm nestled in beautiful Texas Hill Country.

We raise all heritage breeds of livestock, including pigs, turkeys, and cattle. They are rotated on native pasture their entire lives which allows them to live and thrive in healthful, wild conditions. Animal welfare and comfort is always our top priority.

Beef cattle rotationally graze across 190 acres of diversified pastureland. Our pigs and turkeys eat a locally milled non-gmo, non-soy, non-corn grain ration. Thanksgiving turkeys are butchered on-farm in the fall to lessen transportation stress at time of slaughter.

We never use any herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers on our pastures. Meat animals are not given any hormones or antibiotics.

Pork and beef is available by the share (whole or ½ for pork and whole, ½, ¼, ? for beef) or as individual cuts. Turkeys are available by pre-order in late summer for purchase of a whole bird for the holiday season. Check our website and Instagram (@wildherdtx) for availability updates.

We can arrange drop-off points or home delivery throughout Central Texas, or you are also welcome to come check out the ranch and pick up on-farm.
