Monti Verdi Salumi makes authentic Italian style cured meats (charcuterie / salumi) using the meat that comes from animals we grow at our farm, Agricola Farm, in Panton, vermont. We raise our pigs on pasture using a rotational grazing plan, and we feed them non-GMO feed in addition to the legumes and vegetables we seed in the pastures for them. Our pigs are all born and raised at our farm and we are the ones processing them, this way we have a clear understanding of the quality of what you get from the beginning to the final product. We are motivated to bring you a high quality product that is authentic and reflects our italian heritage, but we are also equally committed to give our pigs the opportunity to live a life where they are allowed to express their instincts and we manage this to ensure the soil and other natural resources in our land are respected.
