Montana Mobile Processing Company will bring a USDA-inspected slaughter facility to harvest cattle on the ranch. This will enable ranchers to retain the added value of marketeing their product locally. The mobile slaughter unit can process and hold up to 24 head for transport to a retail fabrication facility or for direct sales to institutions and restaurants. This can save multiple trips to a facility that may be three hours away. This saves fuel and workers' time. I hope to have this facility on-line in late 2012.
