We strive to simulate natural animal behavior through intensive management practices to produce happier, healthier animals.
We do not believe it is enough to be grass fed, all of our cows are grass finished, meaning they eat grass their entire life. Allowing them to grow on an all forage diet, as they would in nature, our cows produce more omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidant vitamins, and less unhealthy fats. Add in that our cows are never exposed to pesticides, and given no antibiotics or artificial hormones, and you have beef you can feel good about eating. Plus, it tastes amazing!
Our pigs are pasture raised, and their diet is based mainly on natural forage as they are rotated through a variety of paddocks. As they grow and require additional feed supplementation, locally sourced non-GMO grain is utilized.
Our chickens also live their lives outdoors as nature intended. They free-range in our pastures and are rotated regularly to allow them access to new forage opportunities. Similar to our pigs, the chickens are given a free-choice non-GMO feed from a local feed producer.
We always say, we wouldn?t sell something we wouldn?t feed to our kids!
