Atlantic Sea Farms is a woman-run, mission-driven seaweed farming company. We are dedicated to making a powerful and positive impact on the health of our customers, our coastal communities, and our planet by creating delicious products made from regeneratively farmed sea greens.
We partner directly with independent family farmers along the coast of Maine. Atlantic Sea Farms provides free seed and technical assistance to help these farmers get farm leases, set up their gear, learn how to seed and harvest their crop throughout the season.
We offer fresh, frozen, refrigerated seaweed - primarily sugar kelp which is a native species to the Gulf of Maine. Frozen bulk pallets & shredded kelp. We also offer a variety of dried seaweed products from whole leaf to powder.
We do offer organic certified kelp for human food in food service and wholesale refrigerated and frozen shipping and pre placed sales pickups in Biddeford.
We are also able to provide terrestrial farmers with fresh seaweed that does not make it into our human food products, for soil amendment and composting efforts to benefit soil for land crops.

Our home base in Biddeford, ME houses our seed nursery and production facility. We ship directly from this location but do not have a open store front for customers.
