From our family farm to your family's table, we offer farm-raised beef, chicken, eggs and pork. Promise Hill Farm beef is fresh and healthy; no growth hormones, antibiotics, or any other drugs are used. All our cattle have continuous access to grass or hay. Promise Hill Farm cattle are grain finished to ensure a more marbled meat. Promise Hill broiler chickens are raised the old fashion way, on green grass in fresh air and sunshine. Our chickens are moved daily in bottomless pens to graze fresh growing pasture. The pens protect chickens from predators, while allowing the advantages of sunshine and exercise. Promise Hill Farm naturally fertilized pasture, exercise and the total absence of anything artificial, helps produce the least stressed, healthiest, best textured chickens available. On our farm, everything is natural. We use no vaccines, no medications, no steroids, no hormones. Our hens are kept in the field where they enjoy fresh air, dust baths, and scratch for grass and insects. The movable coop is used for the hens to lay eggs, roost at night, and for shelter from the East Texas elements. They are also fed a Non-Soy Non-Gmo feed. We also pasture raise heritage breed Red Wattle Pigs. They produce a lean meat that has been described as flavorful and tender.
