Sewell Mill Community & Farmers Market

We are in our second year as an indoor & outdoor climate controlled market opening in April 2013. New to this years market is a Kids Club, the Power of Produce and we will be accepting SNAP benefits.We are working on a food concession,(waiting for fresh produce) and are in the beginning stages of planning a community garden. Our goal is to bring fresh local produce, dairy, meats and more to our community. We want to offer a friendly, comfortable community environment for you to sell & visit. Vendors at the Market must produce their products locally. No fresh product can be sold that has been purchased from a commercial grower or supplier in a "as is" form. Sustainable and organic practices are encouraged but are not required. All products must be grown, raised, harvested and prepared for resale in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. All products must be displayed and packaged in a safe and sanitary manor and also in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Some reused, re purposed, recycled and hand made items will be accepted. Example: rain barrels, planters, quilts . All items must be approved by Market management. Each vendor will be provided with a 10x10 space. We hope that our vendors will be there on a weekly basis and we can assign a space for the entire season. Each vendor will be responsible for providing their entire set up and display and breakdown and clean up of same. Civic groups, clubs, schools, ball teams and individuals are encouraged to attend with their fundraising effort. We are a community market and would love to help. Please provide us with info prior to your arrival so that we can ensure appropriate space. If you are a local entertainer and would like to showcase your talents for FREE we would love to talk to you. A bulletin board with space to post your upcoming event / fundraiser/ information will be provided. We look forward to being a part of the community and making our market your market!
