Cedar Grove Alpacas, LLC is a small, family run eight acre farm located in Spanaway, WA dedicated to applying solid Christian principles, integrity and ethics to every possible aspect of the alpacas, our contribution to the Industry, and our relationship with other alpaca enthusiasts & breeders. Our yarn is made of only the finest blanket fiber. We currently produce our exclusive, AlpaCaress(tm) 100% Alpaca yarn from our multi award-winning fleece in 12 of the 16 recognized natural colors; white, beige,light fawn, maroon (reddish medium brown), burgundy (darker medium brown), medium silver grey, dark silver grey, dark rose/indefinite grey, bay black, indefinite (streaky) black and true black. Beginning Spring 2007, we will be adding rare Soay sheep yarn and raw fiber for sale! We believe in supporting local cottage industries and have Star Castle Fiber Mill in Seabeck, WA transform our yearly harvest of over 100 pounds of prime alpaca blanket fiber into our exclusive, earth-friendly yarn.
