Centers for Nature Education at Baltimore Woods

Local Food Business
Centers for Nature Education helps people realize there is no place like here and no time like now to enjoy, understand, and protect the world around you. Eating local food is one way people can reduce greenhouse gas emissions. On the third Wednesday of every month, we put on a lunch for our volunteers. Volunteer lunches feature healthy, locally grown foods. Land Management volunteers plant and tend a Three Sister's Garden (that also includes Brother Spud - the potato). Harvests from this garden are included in volunteer lunch menus. For more information on volunteering at CNE visit our website at www.takeahike.org.
