We're a natural foods co-op serving the southern Midcoast since 1978. We host the Damariscotta Farmer's Market in our parking lot on Mondays from June-September (from 3-6 PM). We're right on Business Route 1 (Upper Main Street) in Damariscotta. Rising Tide has a strong commitment to providing our community with the best local, natural and organic foods. We support more than 130 local farmers and producers, ensuring that our food dollars stay in our community. We're open 7 days a week from 8am - 8pm. Everyone is welcome to shop at Rising Tide! We have the best produce displays in town, featuring fresh local and organic fruits and veggies. We carry fresh local and natural meats, a wide variety of bulk foods, grocery items, dairy, wine and beer, and high-quality vitamin and body care products. Our deli features soups, sandwiches, baked goods, hot foods and grab & go salads and meals. This area is home to a thriving community of local family farms and producers, and we at Rising Tide are proud to support many of these fine folks while running a successful business! From our beginnings as a small, committed group of people banding together as a buying club in order to access healthy, whole foods at fair prices, we've maintained our focus on providing high-quality, natural and sustainable foods and goods to our community. Several years ago, we purchased and renovated a car dealership directly across the street from our old location. In 2009, we moved into this bright, open, welcoming new store! This huge project was only possible with the continued support of our dedicated member-owners and the community as a whole. We've expanded the number of products we carry and also increased the number of friendly, engaging staff who strive to provide the best customer service in town!
