Our small family farm is located in the beautiful countryside of Gates County, North Carolina. Our Berkshire cross pigs are raised on the ground, in open pastures using sustainable farming practices. They have lots of space to root (forage), run and wallow till their hearts content, doing what pigs are naturally meant to do. No antibiotics or added growth hormones are given ever, so they grow naturally at their own pace. Mothers and piglets are not confined in farrowing crates so everyone has plenty of room. All of our pigs are treated lovingly and humanely. In our opinion, a happy, no stress pig produces pork that you can see and taste the difference.
