Stony Run Highlands and Farm is a family farm located in the small town of Oakboro, North Carolina. Stony Run was established in 2016. The farm is owned and operated by Amber and Andrew Gloege, along with their family, and specializes in the heritage breed Scottish Highlands and their beef as well as all natural farming. They chose Highland beef due to its nutritional value in comparison to other beef available. Stony Run occasionally offers livestock for sale including Scottish Highlands, ducks, and chickens. Be sure to stay on the look out for animals as they come available.
