Chestnut Hill Farms Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a 20-week CSA beginning in mid-June and running through October. Our market-style CSA allows participants to pick and choose from each weeks harvest, selecting a variety of vegetables of their own preference and comfortably filling either a small or large basket. We will occasionally limit some items as needed in order to have enough for all CSA members. We have two share sizes to choose from: our large share is meant to provide a weeks worth of vegetables for 4-6 people and our small share is meant for 2-4 people. Our take what you want, leave what you dont approach makes for less waste and for more satisfied customers. Less waste also means more for members of our community that benefit from our weekly donations of fresh produce to the Southborough Food Pantry and other local non-profits.
We grow more than 40 varieties of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, including plenty of favorites such as carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers and peas.
Our CSA members also have access to our Pick Your Own gardens. As part of a CSA share, members may pick a weekly bouquet of flowers, peas, chili peppers, green and wax beans, cherry tomatoes, and more, depending on what is in season.
Our farmstand is open to the public seasonally starting in June and continuing through the fall. Items for sale include our own vegetables and honey, along with other locally produced items such as jams, cheeses, ice cream, humanely raised meats and more.
