Chikabee Farm

Knowing where and how our food is produced is important, how better to do that then to know the food comes from your neighbor? We have three dozen pasture-raised laying hens consisting mainly of Welsummer breed hens. We also raise Cornish Cross chickens for table meat. Also on the farm we keep a small amount of bees. Eggs are available year-round starting later this summer (new layers in this Spring). Meat birds are available March through November, depending on weather. Honey is also available June through November as well. New this year is lip balm in a few select flavors made from wax harvested here on the farm. We stay true to nature as possible, no antibiotics or growth hormones are used, from start to finish our animals are not treated as commodities but part of nature, we believe this improves the final product we offer.
