City of Palos Heights Farmers' Market

The 2009 Palos Heights, Illinois Farmer's Market is held every Wednesday beginning May 6 through and including October 14. The hours for the market are 7:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. We are located in the Founders Bank parking lot on the northwest corner of Harlem Avenue and College Drive. Fruits, vegetables, flowers, cheese and pastry vendors are only a few of the vendors present. Weekly activities include music, cooking demonstrations, clowns, face painting and visits by local fire trucks, police department and Palos Community Hospital to name a few. Community civic groups are also present weekly to welcome shoppers from the area. We have 12 or so vendors including 3 or 4 fruit & vegetable farmers, a cheese specialist, a local perennial nursery, our local Breadsmith as well as several others. This will be our 5th year at the same location and our 17th year in Palos Heights .
