Our good health involves year-round organic sustainable production of naturally nutritious vegetables. To provide you with the most flavorful varieties, we start our plants from heirloom, organic, and saved seed. What we offer you is what our family grows to eat & enjoy. Your suggestions are always welcome :) Soil health is elevated, nutrients are naturally cycled, and diseases organically suppressed with crop rotation, year-round applications of ramial chipped wood, compost, and aged leaves, plus daily involvement of worms. We encourage nature's system of insect predators by intercropping flowering cover crops. Harvest season on our artisan farm is jump-started within our solar heated high tunnels that warm the early asparagus and protect the last of the winter greens and sweet carrots. Within the high-tunnels, we can also grow long-season exotic melons, warm-season okra, and tender artichokes. Extending our supply of summer tomatoes and raspberries way past first frost is not the end of our high tunnel harvest. Actually, the high-tunnel harvest season never ends, as we pick sweet carrots and salad greens through the winter to make room for our first spring plantings.
