Do you remember the tomatoes we loved to eat right out of the garden during our upbringing? What happened to them and why can't we find them today? From 1996 through 2004, I searched all the farmers markets in the Kansas City area for "good tomatoes" and nothing compared to what I remember coming out of our garden. That is when I decided to grow my own. . Not only that, we chose not to grow any hybrids (only Open Pollinated/heirlooms). In 2005, we were the first to bring "heirloom tomatoes" to market and we grow them in real dirt outside and we water them too. It may seem hard to believe but these are not the normal practices of the "farmers" at our local markets. I leaned that most of them don't even grow what they are selling.

If you love the kind of tomato where the taste is so amazing that it goes straight through to your soul then we have the CSA for you! Our CSA is customizable but, if you prefer, will be tomato heavy and we include hundreds of varieties throughout the season. Each week you are sure to have a new favorite. We also make fresh pickles, Salsas, and Sauces from our grow that are sure to please even the most selective palate.

We are looking forward to providing you with the items we specialize in - tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers & okra. If our chickens decide to produce eggs again, you might even get a dozen here and there.
