LC Sugar Farm

LC Sugar Farm is a small family-run USDA certified organic farm located in western Colorado peach and wine country. We -Susan Metzger & Gary Huaschulz- grow goji berries and English and French lavenders and herbs. Our crops are sold at farmer's markets and at our farm - both harvested and U-pick. We have fresh lavender from the beginning of June until the first of November. Our goji crop is a little later than wine grapes - starting to ripen in September and continuing until hard frost. I can usually still harvest in late November but the biggest crop is in October. We also have organic alfalfa. This year we were excited to have our small-batch copper-distilled oils and hydrosols and our ground culinary lavender certified organic. Susan and Gary are both farmers and artists. Susan uses her lavender fields to create artwork and yearly calendars and she is a founding member of the Lavender Association of Western Colorado
