Studio Herbage

Studio Herbage is a contemporary floral design studio and botanicals grower located in historic Johnstown, New York. Started in 2014, Studio Herbage regularly features locally and USA grown flowers for their popular and well sought after events, parties and galas throughout the Northeast. We grow our botanicals on approximately 5 acres of pristine farmland at the foothills to the Adirondack Park. During the growing season you can arrange for a farm tour led by horticulturist, artist and designer James Dempsey AIFD, CFD. James is one of only 21 AIFD professionally Certified Floral Designer(s) in New York State. Studio Herbage is known for creating lush, texture-rich designs featuring today's hot botanical commodities such as dahlias, eucalyptus, euphorbias, helleborus and many others, all grown and cared for by professional, knowledgable staff. During the growing season we host internship experiences on the farm and in the studio for those individuals looking to gain experience in the propagation, marketing, designing and selling of cut flowers, herbs, perennials and shrubs.
