The Boot

The Boot is a Norfolk restaurant working to preserve our fine heritage food-ways. Food: An Italian inspired kitchen, following the culinary philosophy of fresh and local. We work closely with Virginia farmers and artisans to bring the freshest ingredients of the season to the table. We are always looking for new products. Music: Our space is also a music venue allowing us to house various traveling and local acts which in turn nurture the growing music scene of this fair city. As owners of Relative Theory Records we have brought many talented individuals to this area to help shape and influence our community. Our goal is to create experiences that stand out from the commerical monoculture. Art: We decorate our walls with the work of artists living in and around our community. Two artists adorn our walls for two months. All artwork will be available for sale at opening and closing celebrations for each exhibition. Our goal is to make our home more about the people who live in it rather than the infiltrating profiteers. Our doors are now open and we hope you find us with an open mind and an empty stomach.
