Colusa County Grown

The Colusa County Resource Conservation District (CCRCD) is working locally to bridge the gap between agricultural producers and consumers through a project called Colusa County Grown. Colusa County Grown features a group of Colusa County agricultural producers who sell directly to the consumer through outlets such as farmers markets, farm stands, agritourism, community supported agriculture (CSA), and internet sales. Producers that participate in the program receive marketing support including printed marketing materials, advertising, and listings on the Colusa County Grown website and in a local shopping guide. The Colusa County Grown program also promotes consumer education on the benefits of eating local, healthy, seasonal products and supporting locally grown.
