Come Again Farm

Who we are: We are a small family run farm located in beautiful Kemi'knek (Cogmagun) Nova Scotia. We raise Certified Free Range chicken, eggs, pastured pork and dabble in a variety of fruit and veggie crops.

What we do: We raise pigs and chickens in small flocks, using ethical and environmentally responsible practices. We believe that by spending more time observing the animals and letting them do what comes naturally to them, we end up with a nutrient and flavour rich, premium quality product and a healthier farm ecosystem. We let them forage and explore, we supplement with locally milled Atlantic Canadian grains and we don't use any chemicals, antibiotics or hormones.

Why we farm: We farm because it makes us happy! Being able to raise healthy crops and animals and share them with our local community is rewarding. It is also a step towards shifting our society away from the grocery store and mass produced, high input food that degrades the natural environment. It's all in the name - Come Again Farm represents our belief that a properly managed, small scale farm will continue to produce food for generations to come, leaving the land in a better state each year.
