At the heart of the Country Barn lies a six-generation legacy, guided by Jim Stauffer. Our story begins with our iconic big yellow barn, a historic landmark since 1866. Originally, we focused on beef, tobacco, and potatoes, but Jim's vision led us to diversify. Today, our farm is renowned for succulent tomatoes, sweet corn, asparagus, lettuce, and potatoes.

In 1986, Jim unveiled our first retail farm market, offering fresh, locally grown produce and beef, a success that led to our present-day Country Barn Farm Market and greenhouse in 1999. Here, we added homemade charm with scratch-baked goods, housewares, and delightful gifts, nurturing our bond with the local community. Our commitment to quality and local sourcing remains unwavering.

Country Barn is host to a barn wedding venue with two indoor ceremony/reception venues and two outdoor ceremony venues.

Barnyard Kingdom, a fun-filled agritainment center is also located one the property. Kids of all ages will have fun on the giant slide, the Bouncy Pumpkin and a leisure train ride around the farm as well as fun farm activities such as feeding the animals. A corn maze, opens at Barnyard Kingdom season, which starts towards fall.

Special events throughout the year will keep your family entertained. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Strawberry Festival, Potato Festival and pick your own pumpkins are a few of the fun-filled events held each year.

Christmas at Country Barn rounds out the year. Breakfast with Santa, Cut-your-own Christmas trees, with a train ride to the trees and Christmas in Barnyard Kingdom are included in our Christmas experience here at Country Barn.
