Crooked Carrot

Here at the Crooked Carrot, we have happily taken ownership of a small flock of ducks. Being in the Culinary field, I realized how important quality ingredients are to baking, and duck eggs fit the bill! With their bigger egg size, my cakes & cookies turned out even better(not to mention, duck eggs are very delicious on their own). So one day it dawned on me... I should raise my own ducks! My ducks are part of my family, so I treat them like my family. My ducks are free range from about 9am-6pm(depending on time of year). They do NOT have any cages to confine them, and happily waddle around our 1.5 acre yard freely. They have contact with grass, bugs, flowers, and table scraps. They are only fed a limited non-gmo and pesticide free feed daily. Not sure if you want to make the jump from chicken eggs to duck eggs? No worries, we'll catch you :)
