CSA: Crooked Creek Farm

Membership Fee. A non-refundable fee of $450.00 or $550 ?(with Lamb share) ? for the full season, January through March 2020. Members select the items they wish to order from those offered by the three vendors.?The only constraint is that they purchase a minimum of $150 in each of the three categories (chicken,pork and beef) or $100 share of lamb, in the course of the CSA season. The $100 add-on subscription will provide choices of various lamb cuts, roasts, steaks, including ground lamb. Since the add on amount of lamb is limited, we will be offering a limited number of lamb shares (first come first served).? The only constraint is that a member must purchase a minimum of $150 in each of the meat categories in the course of the 2020 Winter season. ?At the end of the season, members must either use their remaining credit balance or forfeit it. ?The balance is not transferable to future winter or other market seasons.
Discount. After a member has exhausted their initial $150 credit in any one of the three meat categories, they may purchase additional products in that category at a 10% discount for the remainder of this Winter Meat CSA season. The 10% discount will apply to the other categories when their initial $150 credit is also depleted.
Season of Operation. January through March 2020.

Pickup of Product. From 9 to 11 AM on the 1? and 3? Saturdays of each month for a total of six pickups. The 2020 Dates Jan 4th, 18th, Feb 1st, 15th, March 7th and 21st?.
Pickup Location. The Mary Risteau Bldg. parking lot in Bel Air (?where the Bel Air Farmers Market is usually held?).
Inherent Risk of Farming. All farming operations are at risk of partial or total crop, flock, or herd loss due to the vagaries of nature. Many CSAs ask members to share that risk. Three Farms Winter Meat CSA does not ask you to do so. If in the unfortunate event of a production loss (or even in the fortuitous event that you buy out our winter inventory!), we agree to refund your remaining credit balance in the meat category affected.
Membership Acceptance. The first 30 applicants paid in full are assured membership, others may be placed on a waiting list. Applicants will be notified by email upon their acceptance.
