We purchased our land in 1992. We started to plant vegetables for ourselves. We never used chemicals. Year by year we grew more. Now we have enough to share with others. We have created our own micro eco-system on our land. Raised beds are used to promote drainage and facilitate hand weeding. We use our own organic seeds. We create our own organic fertilizer from compost originated on our land. Only small hand tools are used for plant cultivation to consciously insure that our food is not mechanized. We support the principles of self sustainability and self reliability. Our gardening is a major part of of our lifestyle which keeps us close to nature. We are recognized as organic with the Idaho Department of Agriculture.
