CSA: Davis Ridge Farm

Meat CSA 2013 Davis Ridge Farm (DRF) is offering a limited number of Full & Half shares of antibiotic & hormone free pork, and new this year pastured turkey. The DRF Meat CSA will run for 3 months (6 drop-offs). The drop off points will be given at a later date. Shares Full Share (2 drops per month) 2# pork chops 2# breakfast sausage 1# Italian sausage 1# ground pork 2# Farmers Choice $325.00*

Half Share (2 drops per month) 1# pork chops 1# breakfast sausage 1# Italian sausage/ground pork (will change each drop) 1# farmers choice $225.00* *Includes delivery Add Turkey You can add either a whole or half turkey (whole $60.00/half $35.00) Turkeys will take approx. 20-22 weeks to grow (approx. 20lb.) Weather depending, they should be ready toward the end of May. Add Pork If you find yourself in need of larger quantities than your share offers you may add extra product (i.e. need extra chops for cookout). Cost will be market price minus 5% for being a member. Payment A deposit is required, $50.00 full share, $35.00 half share. (which goes toward your balance) There are 2 options for payment. Option A is to pay in full at the beginning of the CSA which will include a 10% discount. Option B is to make monthly payments as follows: (does not include add ons) Full Share Deposit $50.00 Balance $137.50 a month for 2 months

Half Share Deposit $35.00 Balance $95.00 a month for 2 months

Drop off dates and times will be established. If there is a reason you cannot make the pick-up, it is your responsibility to contact DRF to make other arrangements. If there are no arrangements made and you are on the monthly payment option you are still responsible for the payment.

By joining the DRF CSA I understand that farming is a seasonal & unpredictable undertaking, the exact selection & quantities & portion size included in the distribution will be at the discretion of DRF as these may change as the season & animals progress. I understand that the meat will be produced with sound sustainable farming practices & with no antibiotics, hormones or chemical de-wormers. Due to the delicate nature of raising chicks and turkey poults, weather will play an important part in the CSA.
