Nuts About Dee's Berries is a developing agroforestry farm in Brodhead, Wisconsin, dedicated to growing diverse perennial food crops while improving soil health, water quality, and wildlife habitat.
Our 48-acre farm is being transformed into a climate-resilient food forest featuring chestnuts, pawpaws, aronia berries, black currants, red currants, Juneberries (serviceberries), bush cherries, elderberries, persimmons, seaberries, goumi berries, hazelnuts, and many other specialty fruits and nuts. We use regenerative practices including perennial agriculture, pollinator habitat, cover crops, and no-till management to build healthy soils and support biodiversity.
While our plantings are still becoming established, we invite you to follow our journey as we create one of Wisconsin's most diverse agroforestry farms. Future plans include U-pick experiences, pre-picked fruit, farm events, educational workshops, and value-added products made from our unique harvests.
We believe farming can produce nutritious food while restoring ecosystems for future generations.
