Hickory Ridge Farm is a family owned and operated farm located in the heart of Hickory on South Battlefield Blvd. Our season begins in late April with you-pick and pre-picked strawberries, followed with summer produce and ends with you-pick and pre-picked pumpkins. Our annual strawberry JAMboree is held in May (check Facebook for events) and we have many family friendly activities during our Fall Festival Weekends each year. We conduct educational field trips throughout the year for school aged children to learn about farming, visit with our farm animals and enjoy the play area. Our farm also has a mobile market and it can be found during the spring and summer months at the Chesapeake Public Library on Cedar Rd. (check Facebook for days and times). We offer a summer CSA. We also host birthday parties and the farm can be a venue for family reunions and company parties which includes hayrides, pony rides, farm animals and a play area.
