Petworth Market

The Petworth Community Market, Inc. is a non-profit organization of Petworth residents which manages a weekly market providing an opportunity for the sale, trade and promotion of produce, goods and services with a focus on producers, artisans and entrepreneurs in Greater Petworth. The market will feature farm fresh produce from neighboring Virginia and Maryland, locally produced baked goods and prepared foods, hand-crafted products, art, musical entertainment, and youth activities. The market will run every Friday 3:00-7:00pm through October 29, 2010. The market will be located on the 4100 block of 9th Street NW at the highly visible intersection of Georgia Avenue and Upshur Street.
