CSA: Double Oak Farm

We are trying something new this year, and we are excited to share it with you. This year, we will have a slightly different sales model and season. You can find the details below.

Option 1: Rather than a prepaid Buyer’s Choice CSA, we are offering a farm membership. Your membership will help support our farm, and you will receive exclusive benefits. Membership includes at least 25 weeks of online ordering, 5% off purchases at our farm market booth and roadside stand, and one free farm tour or event. Free delivery is included, with a minimum order, for those who live within our delivery area. Be sure to check our map for 2026 updates or just ask, and we will check for you. Memberships are non-refundable and expire 12/31/26. You will still be able to order from a large selection of seasonal products, but you will pay for your order each week rather than in advance.

Option 2: We are offering a very limited number of Farmer’s Choice CSA Boxes. We will offer them both in the Spring and Fall. They will include a selection of the best we have to offer. Each week’s box will feature 8-12 items. The spring CSA will run for 10 weeks from April through the end of June, and the fall CSA will run for 12 weeks from September through November. CSA Boxes are non-refundable.

Option 3: We plan to offer a wider and more consistent selection at our roadside stand. We will also be at the Downtown Spring Farmer’s Market and, if offered again, the SEARS Winter Market.

We expect to have the first items ready in a couple of weeks, and we will start trialing our new ordering system. We should have a good selection by the beginning of April, which will increase through June. This year, we will take time off in July and early August, then resume orders by mid-August or early September and continue until December.

We have had to take a critical look at how we operate to remain viable and sustainable. One change you will notice is a modification to our delivery area. We have had to reduce some of the longer runs that only serve a few customers. We apologize if you are no longer within our delivery area, and we hope you understand.
