DoughChicks of Karabread, LLC are a mother and daughter team: Denise and Kara. Our passion is baking and cooking healthy fun food! Providing tasty nutrient- dense and convenient food for busy and active people is our goal! Our food will sustain your blood-sugar level while giving you the fuel needed to get through the day with natural and delicious ingredients.
Certified gluten-free whole oats, raw nuts and ground flax seed meal play a large part in our recipes due to the nutrient density. Current nutrition information helps in creating new ideas for the DoughChicks. Denise has her own version of an energy bar - The MIbar created for bicyclists, runners, motorcyclists, and anyone else on the go. They are made from raw natural ingredients including gluten-free oats and cocoa. Local Michigan honey is added for a special sweetness. Chia Crunch and MidNight Krunch (now with avocado oil) are our designer cereals sweetened with Michigan honey and Michigan maple syrup. Chia seeds, along with ground flax seeds, add a unique and nutritious twist to this cereal/snack which provides enduring energy.
