Started in 2000, the Downtown Elgin Farmers Market (formerly known as the Elgin Harvest Market) has been seasonal and weekly, outdoor farmers market.
The market offers and encourages locally grown and sustainably produced food from area businesses who offer fresh, quality vegetables, fruits, bread, meat, and more.
Additionally to supporting local artists the market cultivates a welcoming, accessible family-friendly, and entertaining public space atmosphere in Downtown Elgin.
Our market accepts LINK cards, as well as credit cards!
The 2018 Elgin Farmers Market Season occurs on Friday's June 1st-October 5th, from 3pm-7pm.

It's a great way to socialize, buy locally grown produce and homemade goods. It's always a fun time there, they have a great selection, from doggy goodies to people goodies. Nothing beats the taste of homegrown, and adding a little extra fun time makes it that much more enjoyable and special.
